"We were there in October. The Cars characters do signings at Disney/MGM Studios, you can get the schedules. Lightning is a real car which is very cool for the kids to see, it is not a character. There are not really any themed attractions for Cars yet unfortunately. Most of what you will find is at Disney/MGM Studios."

Disney: Cars-Themed Attractions
"We were just there in October and my sons are addicted to Cars as well.
We saw Mater and Lightning at the MGM park. If your son likes Nemo as well, I would check out Epcot too."

"We were there in November and you can "meet" and have your picture taken with Lightening McQueen at MGM studios. Be sure you get in line well before the time he is scheduled to come out. They will close the line and you will have to wait until his next appearance if you are too late. As far as I know, there are not any other Cars attractions, but I think they are building one. MGM is a small park, good to visit if you already have evening plans or if you want to make it an early day."

"When we were last there about a year and a half ago we saw McQueen and Mater at MGM (I guess now Disney's Hollywood Studios). They were actual cars. McQueen was really loud! My daughter then 3 loved them. There is usually a character schedule available at the information desks to find out when you can see certain characters.
I can't think of any attractions at any of the parks dedicated to the characters."

"You can meet Lightening McQueen and Mater at Disney/MGM Studios. I believe that is the only place to meet them and the only Cars themed attractions!"

"The racetrack area in Majoc Kingdom - sorry I cannot remember the name - is Cars themed. Its between Tomorrowland (the Space Mountain end) and Fantasyland (the Dumbo, Teacups end). My son is also a fanatic! He liked the Buzz Lightyear space ride a lot though too and has never seen Toy Story."

"Hi there. The only Cars stuff in Disney is at MGM. My son absolutely loved it. Mater and McQueen are there and their afternoon parade is all the characters in cool cars."

"I think the best place to see Cars stuff is at the MGM Studios (or whatever they just renamed it to). It is at that park that we encountered a life-size Lightening McQueen on parade."
