"I ended up getting the new Combi counterpart. It's lightweight and officially only accomodates the combi carseat but I was able to squeeze our graco in there. In all fairness I have not taken it in the car yet, only on neighborhood walks, without the carseat, except one time. It's pretty nice. Only downsides I've seen so far is a small bakset and the infant canopy is too small, but that can be easily mitigated with an attachment. (Not by combi). I can't yet comment much on day to day ease of openning/closing and lifting. But from what I recall in the store, it's an easy manuver. I think eventually when the infant is out of the carseat, I might get a lightweight side by side, just for better agility."
Double Stroller: Combi
"Combi has a brand new double called Counterpart. You might want to check it out. We got our stroller here: http://www.joggingstroller.com/Phil--Teds-e3-Explorer.pro About the e3, we have one, and LOVE it. My kids are 23 months apart. My son sits in back and seems very happy. The front seat is held up by a couple of clips, to which you can hang toys for the kid in back. And I don't think the view's all that bad -- my son turns his head to the sides to watch things go by.I don't find the back to be too low at all. We've never scraped our son on the ground, even while bumping the stroller down the stairs (try that with a Duo Glider!) "

Double Stroller: Combi
"My kids are 11 months and 2 1/2. I recently bought the Combi twin (side-by-side) and love it. It is very easy to fold and unfold – much easier than my Peg single stroller, actually. In fact, everything about this stroller is easy and fool-proof and requires no "wrestling" - it turns easily, it reclines easily, it folds easily, it's well made, and it really doesn't feel clunky for a double. I bought it because I thought my kids would love sitting next to each other in the side-by-side seats. Generally, they are really excited about sitting next to each other, but like all kids, they have their moments. Just the other day, my 2 1/2 year old bit the baby's finger really hard as we were strolling and they also tend to fight over any snacks I put in the little cup holders. Still, I highly recommend this stroller."

"My girls will be 17 mos apart, so we are in a similar situation. I was leaning toward the Combi because it takes the Graco car seat. A second one that has caught my attention is Bill and Ted’s new double stroller, which looks awesome, but is super pricey. "
