Double Stroller: Phil and Ted

"If the e3 had been available when I had my first, I probably wouldn't have bothered with any other stroller. It's got great suspension and maneuverability. The stroller is amazingly maneuverable -- the inflatable tires (not plastic or hard rubber) absorb shock well (important for poorly maintained [city] sidewalks) and the three-wheel setup makes it very easy to steer the stroller with just one hand. The stroller comes with a leash, which I always use because the stroller is so quick I worry it will get away from me on the hills! In the single-kid configuration, you can recline the seat all the way back for an infant or insert a car seat (you can purchase a car seat adaptor).

If you have another baby, you can easily pop on a second seat. I would still have the Snap n' Go for the first 3 or so months since you can't hold a car seat and a second child at the same time, but once the baby can hold his or her head up, this is the best double you can get. Even for those first 3 months, I was able to use the stroller -- the infant lies in the reclined seat and the 2d seat installs on top, bunk-bed style. Since it's essentially a single stroller with an attachment, you don't have to deal with a longer wheel base (which is hard to maneuver) or a wider stroller (which doesn't always fit thru doorways). And if you only need to tote one kid, you just drop the 2d seat and it's a single again. No need to have a fleet of different strollers for different situations. I wish it had been available when my daughter was born -- we wouldn't have needed to buy any other stroller (although, like most other moms here, I had the Snap N Go as well...there's just nothing easier, but we only got 4 months out of it before my son got too long for the infant car seat.)I wanted to recommend this stroller to a friend, but her son is a BIG baby (3 months and over 20 pounds), and I am not sure that the back seat would be suitable for him for long (I think the weight limit for the back is something like 30-45 pounds). My kids are small and light, so I have no complaints on that score. "
