"We loved visiting the Beaches Turks and Caicos last year (when our kids were ages 2 and 4), but I know it is pretty pricey. (The Beaches resorts in Jamaica are more affordable and I hear great things especially about Beaches Boscobel and Beaches Negril.)
This year we were looking for a place a little less expensive than Beaches. I found Starfish Trelawny in Jamaica to look really appealing.
I don't have first-hand experience, but I read many many great reviews of Starfish on Trip Advisor. And it's about half the price of Beaches, according to the research I have done.
On a final note, I have heard that Atlantis in the Bahamas is great for older kids, and that even young kids like it a lot too (despite the huge size of the resort). I priced that out and found it to be more reasonable than Beaches, even when you add in the meals."

Welcome to Parents Start Here!
Mama Sprout here! As a Mom, I am overwhelmed by all the things out there for and about kids and family! Where to start? What are the most important things needed? What fits our needs the best? What's healthy behavior? What are "normal" bodily functions? In order to make informed decisions, I talk to alot of parents and I've joined online parent groups.
